Overview
Vianorbus operates a public transport concession in the Porto Metropolitan Area through 3 autonomous sub-operators, with a total of 135 buses The UbiRider Platform allows each sub-operator to manage its own operation independently, while aggregating the same data in real-time into the Vianorbus holding account, providing a single view. Conglomerates of operators are very common and UbiRider makes the same data simultaneously useful for the holding and its members, a capability no competitor currently offers.
Challenges
• Integration with an external API to access ticketing catalog and allow validations; • Give visibility of all data from the three operators to the holding account; • Extensive KPIs tracking needed to report to the Metropolitan Authority.
